Recently I was lucky enough to be asked by Tesalate to do a review for their beach towels. I actually saw these towels on Instagram and instantly fell in love with the patterns! However, I was a bit sceptical about their “sand-free” claim, so when their press asked me to do a review, I was thrilled.
Patterns & Designs
Tesalate Beach Towels comes with many different designs. It was hard for me to choose which one to have as they all so beautiful! I ended up with the black and white “Phoenix” pattern since that will never go out of style.
However, these towels are double-sided. So even if you ended up getting a colourful pattern & would like to change around, just turn them over for the signature black & white triangle pattern of Tesalate! Win-Win!
Features
What I love about these towels is that they only weigh less than half a kilo (1.1 pounds), so it’s not too heavy if you do decide to go travelling with them. I can easily add them into my 8kg RTW pack list. They also quick dry & can absorb up to 1 Liter of water! Measuring 160cm by 78cm it is as long as our regular beach towels, so adding all these qualities up, Tesalate is surely a winner compared to other beach towels.
Since the biggest selling point for Tesalate towels is its “sand-free” properties even with wet sand. I decided to give it a try! I dumped as much wet sand as my bare hands can handle, then started shaking vigorously. To my surprise, the majority of the sand came off in no time!
If I had to be really picky, there were tiny specks of sands remained on the towel. However, it is not visible to the naked eye if you are holding the towel arm’s length away. Check out my 1-minute video review to see it in action!
In Conclusion
Overall I really love this towel if it wasn’t for the price point at USD$59 per towel. Luckily I got given a unique Tesalate discount code for my readers where you can get 15% OFF, just type in “WINNY15” at check-out then you will get your towel in no time with complimentary international shipping too! After all, who understands beach cultures better than an Australian company?
